And the Lord responded: “Look, I am making a covenant. I will perform wonders in the presence of all your people that have never been done in all the earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring.
We are closing out summer 2019 off like we do every year, with a time of prayer. This time of prayer is to prepare our hearts and the spiritual atmosphere for the great things He is going to do this fall.

What we are praying for Canvas in 2019:
Presence – As we come out of our series on the Holy Spirt let’s pray for the presence of God to continue to come upon Canvas Church in a big way. Moses expressed in Exodus 33:15 that if the presence of God did not go with them then He did not want to go. Let’s make that our prayer for every time we come together, let’s pray that the presence of God shows up in a BIG way. Then let’s all make it a priority to show up on Sunday and to our small group and seek Him together.
People – I know we are headed into an incredible season of seeing tons of people who desperately needs Jesus walk through the doors of our church and we need to be prepared to receive them. This all starts with prayer and then moves from there to action. By action I mean using the gifts and talents God has given us to create environments for people to discover Jesus Christ. So yes, let’s pray, but let’s also serve. Are you a part of the Ministry Team yet? Provisions – We have all been so generous in giving to get us into our new facility and yet there is still so much to be done to both maintain and rehab this beautiful historic campus God has given us. Let’s pray for continued financial provision. We need to pray in the finances needed and yet again we need to be actively involved in financial giving as well. As a community we will make it our goal to be like the New Testament church in Acts 4 and not view what we have as our own but as a blessing from God and use it to build His Kingdom through the local church. Have you started practicing tithing yet? If not I encourage you to do so today.
